Wyndham District High School (DHS) is a supportive Kindergarten to Year 12 (K–12) school with a solid culture of collaboration, reflection and skilled growth. The Role
Wyndham DHS is seeking an enthusiastic Year 1/2 Teacher to join our small, supportive K–12 school in the East Kimberley.
We're looking for a teacher who builds strong relationships, creates a calm and engaging classroom, and holds high expectations for every child. You'll value explicit teaching, strong foundations in literacy and numeracy, and working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, families and community.
At Wyndham DHS, Positive Attitudes, High Expectations guides the way we work. Our whole-school approach includes Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), with a strong focus on belonging,



relationships and consistent expectations. In the early years, our teachers use the Explicit Maths Program (EMP) to build strong numeracy foundations.
We are part of the Kimberley Schools Project and have a growing coaching culture, where teachers work alongside colleagues and instructional coaches to reflect on practice, share ideas and continually strengthen teaching and learning.
