Shape Your OT Caseload
Your caseload can include participants across the lifespan and will be shaped around your experience, clinical interests and local service needs wherever possible.
Your work may include functional assessments, capacity building, Assistive Technology, home modifications, sensory and emotional regulation and ongoing therapy.
We Welcome OTs At Different Stages Of Their Career
Early career clinicians looking for supervision, support and opportunities to broaden their experience
Experienced OTs wanting greater flexibility, autonomy and the chance to develop their clinical interests
You'll also have access to Avina's wider OT and multidisciplinary network, so while you're working independently within the community, you're still connected to clinicians across different disciplines and areas of expertise.
What You'll Be Doing

Complete assessments, intervention planning and ongoing therapy
Support participants to increase independence and achieve meaningful goals
Work flexibly across home, school, community and telehealth settings
Collaborate with families, carers, educators and multidisciplinary colleagues
Manage your caseload and schedule with flexibility and autonomy
Participate in supervision, peer learning and professional development
What We Offer
Localised caseloads from Chermside through to North Lakes
Flexible community and hybrid working
Structured clinical supervision and support
OT peer connection and multidisciplinary collaboration
Communities of Practice and ongoing professional development
Opportunities to develop and expand your clinical interests
Achievable KPIs supporting sustainable workloads
Genuine career progression within a national allied health organisation
Local connection plus Avina's wider national clinical network
What You'll Bring
Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy
Current AHPRA registration or eligibility
Strong communication and organisational skills
A collaborative and person-centred approach
Confidence working independently while staying connected with your wider team
NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
Driver's licence and reliable vehicle for community work
If you're looking for an OT role where you can work closer to home across Brisbane's northern corridor, have genuine flexibility over your week and still have a wider clinical network behind you, we'd love to hear from you.
