An established and growing energy business is looking for a commercially driven Strategic Business Development Manager to help expand its offering across Australia's electricity networks, ideally based in Melbourne but could consider Sydney too.

About your new role
You'll own the development of new business across the electricity networks sector, from identifying opportunities through to negotiation and contract close.
You'll:
Build and manage senior customer relationships
Develop and convert a strategic sales pipeline
Lead bids,



pricing and commercial negotiations
Work with internal product and delivery teams to shape solutions
Manage opportunities through longer, complex sales cycles
Help grow existing relationships while opening new accounts
About you
We're particularly interested in people with:
Experience managing longer, complex B2B sales cycles
Robust relationships across the energy/network sector
A track record of delivering sales or business development targets
Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
The persistence and strategic mindset to turn complex opportunities into wins
