Job Description
n
Own and evolve the Heidi Remote Android app alongside the wider Remote team
n
Build and maintain Bluetooth / device connectivity, sync, and settings flows
n
Ship Remote V2 setup experiences, including pairing and Wi‐Fi onboarding, with product and design
n
Collaborate with iOS and Desktop on cross-platform consistency for shared device behaviour
n
Work with backend and firmware partners, including factory-side firmware, on integration and rollout
n
Continuously improve reliability, performance, and security for a clinical workflow
n
Own work end-to-end from build through monitoring field issues
n

Requirements
n
n
3+ years of qualified Android development
n
Fluency in Kotlin and the Android ecosystem
n
Solid experience with modern Android, including Jetpack
n
Experience with architecture patterns such as MVVM / Clean
n
Experience with Bluetooth or other connected / IoT-style devices
n
Familiarity with REST APIs, offline-friendly patterns, and production debugging
n
Comfort owning features end-to-end in a fast-paced, high-agency team
n
Mandarin is a plus
n
Nice to have: Wi‐Fi / enterprise network setup
n
Nice to have: Google Play release experience
n
