Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Small Animal Locum Veterinarian to provide flexible cover between now and December, with opportunities ranging from regular weekday work through to Saturday-only shifts. The position is ideal for a clinician who can step confidently into consultations, manage their own cases and work independently while knowing experienced veterinary support remains available when needed.
Saturday shifts are particularly versatile and run as consult-only sessions, typically from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Additional weekday or longer-term locum arrangements can also be discussed depending on availability. The hospital offers digital and dental radiography, an in-house laboratory and a fully equipped surgical suite, alongside an experienced nursing team.
Package:




Locum opportunities available anytime through to December
$120 per hour including superannuation
Flexible duration depending on candidate availability
Regular weekday shifts may be available
Saturday consult-only shifts available from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
No ABN required
Support available from experienced veterinarians when required
Experienced veterinary nursing support on shift
