About the Role
n
Australian Food & Fibre is seeking an experienced and hands-on Team Leader in Oilseed & Grains to join our team at our Narrabri Warehouse.
n
Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, this role is responsible for leading the day-to-day grain and oilseed operations across the site, including receivals, storage, quality management and outturn activities. You will play an important role in coordinating employees and contractors, maintaining product and inventory integrity, and ensuring operations are completed safely and efficiently.
n
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with solid grain or bulk commodity experience who is ready to take ownership of daily operations and lead by example in a busy agricultural warehousing setting.

Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Lead day-to-day grain and oilseed receival, storage, bunker and outturn operations.
n
Oversee grain classification, sampling, moisture testing, quality assessment and product segregation.
n
Coordinate employees and contractors to ensure operational activities are completed safely and efficiently.
n
Monitor commodity condition, inventory and storage requirements to maintain product quality and accurate records.
n
Coordinate with transport providers, customers and internal teams while supporting harvest and peak-season operations.

About You
n
You are an experienced and practical operator who understands the demands of grain, oilseed or bulk commodity operations. You're confident taking the lead when required, comfortable making day-to-day operational decisions and enjoy working alongside your team to get the job done.
n
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
n
n
3-5 years' experience in grain, oilseed, warehousing or bulk commodity operations.
n
Strong knowledge of grain receival, storage, handling, sampling and quality management practices.
n
Demonstrated experience leading small teams, contractors or seasonal employees.
n
Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
n
A sound understanding of WHS requirements within agricultural, warehousing or logistics environments.
n
n
Previous supervisory experience, knowledge of Chain of Responsibility requirements and experience with inventory management or operational reporting systems will be highly regarded.
