Senior Technical Business Analyst - Network Segmentation
n
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst with significant experience in Network Segmentation to support a major, multi-year Cybersecurity Transformation Program.
n
Reporting to the Project Manager, this is a highly technical, hands‐on BA position suited to someone with a strong career background as a Technical Business Analyst within network, infrastructure, and security environments.
n
What You'd Be Doing
n
n
Perform detailed network discovery and map application and infrastructure dependencies.
n
Analyse raw network traffic logs and develop detailed connectivity matrices covering source/destination IPs, ports, protocols and firewall rules.
n
Work closely with Network and Security Architects to challenge, validate and translate technical requirements into workable solutions.
n
Engage with technical and non-technical SMEs to identify application dependencies and network segmentation requirements.
n
Support Data Centre, DMZ and network modernisation initiatives.
n
Define requirements for workload micro‐segmentation and host‐based isolation policies.
n
Support the transition from flat campus networks to secure, zoned network architectures.
n
Develop requirements supporting Zero Trust, SASE/SSE and cloud‐delivered security solutions.
n

What We're Looking For

You will be a dedicated Technical Business Analyst with strong hands‐on experience across network infrastructure and cybersecurity transformation.
n
Ideally, you will have experience with:
n
n
Network segmentation and micro‐segmentation
n
Firewall routing and network security
n
SD‐WAN, VRFs, NAC and network ACLs
n
Aruba ClearPass
n
SASE / SSE and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
n
Secure Web Gateway (SWG), CASB and DLP
n
Network Traffic Analysis (NTA)



and Deep Packet Inspection (DPI)
n
Data Centre and DMZ modernisation
n
Operational Technology (OT) security environments
n

This is not a Project Manager, Delivery Manager, Scrum Master or high‐level coordination role. We are specifically seeking a career Technical BA who is comfortable getting into the technical detail, analysing network data and working directly with architects and SMEs.
