The Opportunity
n
As Product Owner Lead, you will be responsible for translating business objectives and customer needs into clear product strategies, roadmaps and digital solutions.
n
Working collaboratively with stakeholders across Digital, Innovation, Marketing, IT, Technology and the broader business, you will lead cross-functional Agile teams to deliver valuable, customer-focused outcomes.
n
You will also provide leadership, coaching and direction to Product Owners and Business SMEs, helping foster a strong Agile culture and ensuring teams are aligned to strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities
n

Define product and service vision,



strategy and requirements aligned to customer needs and business objectives.
n
Partner with business stakeholders and Agile teams to establish priorities and shape the digital product roadmap.
n
Lead Agile delivery teams, owning product outcomes, roadmaps and backlog prioritisation.
n
Translate complex business requirements into clear, user-focused digital solutions.
n
Develop and manage implementation plans, including resource capacity planning and budget management.
n
Leverage customer insights, behaviours and motivations to enhance digital experiences.
n
Communicate delivery progress and priorities through showcases, stand-ups and visual management.
n
Build strong relationships across Digital, Innovation, Marketing, IT and business functions.
n
Communicate effectively with both technical and senior business audiences.
n
Champion Agile principles and Scrum practices to improve delivery efficiency, collaboration and quality.
n
Lead, coach and develop Product Owners, providing explicit expectations, guidance and support.
n
Ensure effective testing and quality practices throughout development and at go-live.
n

About You
n
We're looking for a strategic and commercially minded product leader who is comfortable operating across strategy,



delivery and people leadership.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Extensive experience in Product Ownership, digital product management or a related discipline.
n
Demonstrated experience developing, implementing and managing digital technologies and functionality.
n
Strong experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
n
A proven track record of delivering digital initiatives from strategy through to implementation.
n
Experience developing business plans and translating business objectives into actionable product roadmaps.
n
Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
n
Experience leading, coaching or mentoring Product Owners or Agile practitioners.
n
Experience with resource planning, budgets and delivery management.
n
A strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate insights into meaningful digital experiences.
n
Experience within financial services, insurance or another regulated environment will be highly regarded.
n
A tertiary qualification or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
