Design & Build Recruitment is partnering with a well-established and growing engineering and building design consultancy to recruit a Approvals & Permits Officer to join their Sydney team.
n
Working alongside a team of experienced engineers, building consultants, planners and designers, you will play an important role in ensuring projects progress smoothly through the planning and approvals process.
n
The Role:
n
n
Preparing and lodging Development Applications and managing them throughout the approval process
n
Preparing documentation to support planning applications, including Statements of Environmental Effects and Waste Management Plans
n
Coordinating the information and reports required for submissions
n
Working closely with a range of consultants, architects and civil engineers & surveyors.
n
Acting as a key link between building designers, engineers and external consultants throughout the design and approvals process
n
Following up on outstanding information and ensuring applications continue to progress within required timeframes
n
Reviewing documentation carefully to ensure submissions are accurate, complete and ready for lodgments
n

About You:
n
n
Previous experience coordinating DA applications and the planning approvals process
n
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently
n
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
n
Confidence working autonomously and taking ownership of your workload
n
The ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and deadlines at once
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
