The General Manager, People Partnering (Australia) is a leadership role responsible for leading Inghams' HR Business Partnering, Employment / Industrial Relations and Talent Acquisition functions across Australia.
n
Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer and as a member of the People & Performance Leadership Team, this role drives the delivery of integrated people solutions that support our leaders, teams and the business to achieve Inghams' strategic objectives and the P&P; plan.
n
The GM People Partnering will partner with the AU Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to shape people strategies, lead and grow a high-performing team and empower leaders to bring the Inghams' Employee Value Proposition to life.
n
This position can be based in NSW (Macquarie Park), VIC (Somerville or Thomastown) or QLD.
n
Key responsibilities:
n
n
Partner with the AU ELT to develop people strategies that support delivery of the Group strategy, translating strategic priorities into practical people and performance plans
n
Lead the Partnering function across Australia to deliver high-quality, commercially focused people partnering services aligned to business unit priorities and the P&P; plan.
n
Serve as a trusted advisor to the ELT and senior leaders, managing a key relationship with Group Executive – Agribusiness and Primary Processing.
n
n
Employment Relations & Industrial Relations:
n
n
Lead the ER / IR Centre of Excellence to deliver sound, commercially and legally informed employment and industrial relations advice including union engagement across the enterprise.
n
Monitor the external IR landscape and proactively advise the Executive on legislative change, Fair Work obligations and emerging risks.
n
n
Talent Acquisition:
n
n
Lead Inghams' TA function across and develop and execute a TA strategy that supports current hiring needs and builds pipeline capability for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
n
Implement technology-enabled processes that empower hiring leaders to attract and retain the right talent efficiently, reducing friction and time-to-hire.
n
Use recruitment data and market insights to inform sourcing strategies and improve quality of hire and support workforce planning
n
Identify and implement CI initiatives that make P&P; more efficient, streamlined and impactful for leaders and team members.
n
Champion Inghams' EVP across all touchpoints of the employee lifecycle
n
Support the evolution of the P&P; operating model, driving technology adoption and process improvement in partnership with Reward and People Services.
n

Progress, Impact Measurement & Reporting:
n
n
Use metrics, analytics and data to understand, track and demonstrate the impact of People Partnering, ER / IR and Talent Acquisition initiatives on business outcomes.
n
Prepare Executive papers and Board reports for the People & Remuneration Committee.
n
Establish and report on KPIs that reflect team productivity, business outcomes and people metrics and prepare and present meaningful insights to the CPO and ELT as required
n

Key requirements:
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Employment Law or a related discipline.
n
Extensive experience (typically 15+ years) in senior HR leadership roles within complex, matrixed organisations.
n
Demonstrated experience with enterprise agreements, collective agreements, or similar industrial arrangements
n
Proven track record of building solid relationships and working effectively with union representatives and external stakeholders
n
Demonstrated expertise in recruitment and sourcing strategies including executive search, passive candidate engagement and analytics applied to recruitment ROI and talent acquisition metrics
n
Experience leading significant organisational change, transformation or workforce effectiveness programs from design through implementation.
n
Demonstrated experience operating at or with Executive and Board level, with the credibility and gravitas to influence at the highest levels.
n
Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to manage significant budgets and link people and organisation priorities with operational and financial outcomes.
