Job Description
ORGANISATION

Lifeline Australia is a national suicide prevention charity providing all Australians experiencing emotional distress with access to 24-hour crisis support and suicide prevention services. They are committed to empowering Australians to be suicide-safe through connection, compassion and hope. This is achieved through a partnership of over 10,000 committed volunteers and their member centres in communities across the nation.

DV-alert is a nationally recognised training program with training and assessment delivered by Lifeline Australia and approved third parties on behalf of Lifeline Australia (RTO *****). The program is funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services as a key initiative under the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children *********. DV-alert is led by experienced trainers dedicated to ending violence against women and children. Our workshops provide a safe space for frontline workers to learn, connect and be empowered to recognise and respond confidently to those in crisis.

ROLE
n
This is a part-time job share position, working 3 days per week on contract until 30 June ****.
n
The Grant Manager DV-alert oversees contract, grant and stakeholder activity that supports the successful delivery of DV-alert.
n
The role works closely with the Department of Social Services, service provider partners and internal stakeholders to support effective governance, clear communication and delivery against agreed requirements.
n
Key areas of focus include monitoring program performance, coordinating reporting, managing service agreements and supporting timely responses to emerging risks or delivery issues.

Responsibilities
n
n
Support high-quality outcomes for DV-alert's government funder.
n
Foster and develop successful relationships with all relevant stakeholders within grant funders' org structure.
n
Contribute to the development and maintenance of strategic grant management plans, including a focus on grant retention.
n
Facilitate service agreement lifecycle with service provider partners (including the Lifeline Network).
n
Manage service provider performance against service agreement obligations.
n
Maintain service agreement record keeping and contract repository.
n
Track performance against annual grant Activity Work Plan and support remedial activity and risk management as required.
n
Track expenditure against annual grant budget and Activity Work Plan and elevate any actual versus forecast risks as required.
n
Coordinate and deliver against government grant report deadlines and other key deadlines.
n
Support the establishment of annual grant budget in consultation with DV-alert stakeholders and grant funder.
n
Support high-quality data reporting and analysis to grant funder.
n
Ensure invoices from providers are processed in a timely manner.
n
Provide leadership and support for direct report(s).
n
Other duties as required.

About You
n
n
Experience managing contractual agreements,
service provider arrangements and associated obligations.
n
Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with government funders, internal teams and external partners.
n
Ability to interpret data and prepare clear, accurate reports to support performance monitoring and decision-making.
n
Experience supporting budget tracking, financial monitoring and timely escalation of financial risks.
n
Well-developed communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across complex organisational structures.
n
Confidence coordinating activity across multiple stakeholders to support delivery against agreed requirements.
n
Proficient use of relevant information management systems, with the ability to maintain accurate records and support effective reporting.
