The role
n
An chance has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join the Sydney based finance team, supporting a high value Australian portfolio and working closely across multiple funds and listed REIT structures.
n
Reporting to the Head of Finance, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Deliver end to end financial accounting across a large scale property portfolio
n
Perform reconciliations, consolidation entries and financial statement analysis
n
Support month end and year end close in partnership with property managers
n
Contribute to monthly and quarterly property performance reviews
n




Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes across the portfolio
n
Prepare statutory financial statements and support audit delivery
n
Liaise with external auditors, advisors and trustees across multiple entities
n
Manage cash flow across complex legal structures and investment vehicles
n
Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS and income tax returns
n
Support finance deliverables across listed office and logistics REIT structures
n

About you
n
To be considered for this role, you will ideally be CA or CPA qualified or nearing completion, with 4+ years relevant experience.
n
Property or real estate exposure is preferred, with strong technical accounting capability and advanced Excel skills.
n
Experience with systems such as SAP, Oracle, Cognos or MRI will be viewed favourably.
