Griffith Base Hospital, part of NSW Health, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Renal and Haemodialysis unit on a 12-week contract, commencing as soon as possible. This is an prospect to deliver acute intermittent haemodialysis (IHD) in a busy hospital setting, working alongside a dedicated renal nursing team in Griffith, NSW. If you have senior haemodialysis experience and hands-on familiarity with the Fresenius 5008 machine, this role offers immediate placement in a clinical environment where your expertise will be valued.
Deliver acute intermittent haemodialysis in a high-acuity hospital setting
12-week contract with an immediate start date
Work with contemporary equipment including the Fresenius 5008 machine in a supportive renal nursing team

Preferred Requirements




Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Senior-level haemodialysis nursing experience with demonstrated clinical competence
Recent, hands-on experience operating the Fresenius 5008 machine
Proven ability to deliver acute intermittent haemodialysis safely and effectively
Robust clinical assessment skills and the ability to work independently within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration
Post-graduate qualification or certification in renal nursing or haemodialysis
Evidence of ongoing professional development in nephrology or critical care nursing
