Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in accordance with accounting standards
n
Manage the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
n
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the integrity of the general ledger
n
Prepare statutory reporting, BAS, FBT and other compliance obligations as required
n
Support the budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management processes
n
Analyse financial performance and provide insightful commentary on key variances and trends
n
Partner with operational stakeholders to improve financial controls and business performance
n
Assist with external audits and liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies
n
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and financial governance
n
Mentor and support junior finance team members where required
n
Contribute to ad hoc projects, system enhancements and business improvement initiatives
n
Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
n
CA or CPA qualified is essential
n
5+ years' experience in a Senior Financial Accountant or similar financial reporting position
n
Previous experience within manufacturing, industrial, FMCG or a product-based environment is highly regarded
n
Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of Australian accounting standards
n
Experience managing month-end reporting and statutory compliance requirements
n
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with robust analytical capabilities
n




Experience using SAP highly regarded but not essential
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
High attention to detail with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
n
