The Role
n
An exciting opportunity has become available for a detail oriented and analytical Rates Analyst to join a high-performing Payroll team. Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, this role is responsible for the administration, maintenance and governance of employee pay rates across multiple business divisions.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Maintain and manage employee pay rates, allowances, and remuneration data across payroll systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity
n
Coordinate annual remuneration reviews, EBA wage increases, and other rate-related changes across the business
n
Conduct audits and reconciliations of rates, superannuation, allowances, and payroll-related data to ensure compliance and minimise risk
n
Deliver reporting, analysis, and insights on remuneration structures, rate changes, and payroll data
n
Support payroll governance, testing, process improvement initiatives, and system enhancements
n

Candidate Profile
n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n
n
Experience in Payroll, Rates Administration, Remuneration,
Payroll Systems, or a similar analytical role
n
Strong understanding of payroll processes and remuneration
n
Experience working with SAP Payroll, HR systems, or similar enterprise platforms
n
Advanced Excel skills and a passion for data accuracy and analysis
n
Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
n
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across a broad range of stakeholders
n
