The Role
n
n
Deliver naval advisory projects within agreed broad parameters that include budget constraints and contractual requirements.
n
Discuss / present the deliverable with the internal / external clients and be able to suggest alternative solutions where appropriate.
n
Contribute to client management as appropriate by supporting to manage client and LR relationships.
n
Contribute to identifying naval advisory work, building enduring relationships with clients across Defence, government and industry.
n
Work with the maritime sales and naval service delivery teams to promote LR's Advisory capability in naval business.
n




Assist with client relationships through the project lifecycle and support other parts of the business with naval projects as required.
n
Perform assessments and provide specialist advice for internal and external stakeholders.
n
Respond to client feedback, ensuring timely implementation of actions and solutions that uphold high standards of service delivery.
n
Undertake administration as required in line with current processes and procedures.
n
Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards.
n
Give technical guidance to other employees as appropriate and disseminate information to achieve knowledge transfer and application.
n
Pursue Continuous Professional Development and maintain a high degree of discipline, knowledge and awareness.
n
Support team members, as appropriate, to build capacity, capability and support networks to effectively leverage knowledge transfer and application.
n
Make recommendations based on internal / external client feedback to assist in service delivery improvement and to help build the business.

What You Bring
n
n
A degree or equivalent qualification from a tertiary institution recognised by Lloyd's Register in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a closely related discipline.
n
Knowledge and understanding of the naval sector, including its operational and regulatory landscape.
n
Some professional experience, with a strong foundation in naval engineering projects.
n
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, appropriate to the requirements of the role.
n
A high level of professional integrity, analytical rigour and personal initiative.
n
Existing security clearance from the Australian Department of Defence is preferred. At a minimum, the candidate must be eligible for security clearance.
n
Membership in relevant qualified institutions and demonstrated continuous professional development through industry courses, certifications or defence-specific training programmes.
