Job Description
We're currently recruiting for a Contract Administrator to join a growing organisation delivering projects across the infrastructure and construction sector.
n
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs, offering the opportunity to take ownership of post-award contract administration across major projects.
n
Roles and Responsibilities
n
n
Administer head contracts throughout the post-award project phase
n
Prepare payment schedules and manage variations, amendments and deadlines
n
Draft and manage Notices of Variation, Notices of Delay and contractual correspondence
n
Assist with drafting, negotiating and executing subcontract agreements and departures
n
Manage subcontractor claims, commercial compliance and accurate contract records
n
n
Skills and Requirements
n
n
Contract administration experience within construction, civil infrastructure, rail, transport, utilities, resources, defence,
engineering or other project-based industries
n
Strong knowledge of head contracts and subcontract administration, including variations, progress claims, payment schedules, delays and contractual notices
n
Solid commercial awareness with the ability to interpret contracts, identify risks, manage deadlines and draft contractual correspondence
n
Tier 1 experience is highly regarded; candidates from Tier 2 contractors, specialist subcontractors, FRP, residential construction or similarly complex contracting environments are also encouraged to apply
