Join our Commercial Services team as a Hospital Services Assistant! Long Bay Hospital is based in Malabar, NSW.

n

Long Bay Hospital is a part of Long Bay Correctional Centre, in this position you will be working in a secure workplace to maintain the cleanliness of the hospital, distribute meals to patients and provide linen and waste management services.

n

Duties Include

n

n
Carry out general cleaning & tidiness of kitchen, wards, offices, and specific Ward maintenance.
n
Vacuum carpets and maintain floor cleaning standards.
n
Remove, collect and distribute linen for all wards.
n




Clean rooms and beds after patient discharge (terminal clean).
n
Remove waste material including contaminated clinical waste.
n
Prepare breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon tea.
n
Prepare and distribute meals and refreshments to inpatients.
n
