West Wyalong & District Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department and Acute care team on a 12-week contract basis, starting as soon as possible. Based in West Wyalong, NSW, this role offers the chance to work in a energetic acute setting where your clinical expertise and leadership will make a real difference. You'll be stepping into an In Charge position, bringing your ED experience and triage skills to support the hospital's emergency and acute services.

Preferred Requirements




Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Proven experience working in an Emergency Department or Acute care workplace
Demonstrated experience in an In Charge or leadership capacity
Current ALS2 (Advanced Life Support) training
Solid triage experience and ability to assess and prioritise patients effectively

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated expertise in Emergency Nursing
Additional certifications in trauma or critical care nursing are advantageous
