About The Larrakeyah Health Centre
n
Larrakeyah Health Centre is located at the Larrakeyah Barracks in Darwin City. Larrakeyah Defence Precinct is a unique tri-service Defence base directly supporting ADF operations & training. It is the home port of HMAS Coonawarra for Navy Patrol Boats and two Army Landing Craft. The facility has a routine dependency of **** personnel which surges every 3 months to conduct pre and post deployment medicals. The health centre provides primary medical, nursing, mental health, dental, physiotherapy and pharmaceutical services.



Standard operating hours are generally 07:*******:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements).

What You'll Do
n
n
Deliver high quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations or monitor and manage patients in a low dependency ward setting
n
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals
n
Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care
n
n
What You Bring
n
n
Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Minimum one year Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care or military setting
n
Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
n
Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
n
Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient centred care
n
Ability to work a 24/7 roster
n
This role is primarily Monday to Friday (day shift) within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. LEAVE THIS IF ROLE IS OPD ONLY
