SD Parts, part of Sime Motors Australia, is seeking a customer‐focused Parts Advisor to join our Parts Department. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, service excellence, and supporting both retail and workshop customers in a fast‐paced automotive environment.

The Role
n
As a Parts Advisor, you'll be responsible for interpreting and processing parts orders accurately, managing inventory and administration tasks, and delivering a consistently high level of customer service. You'll play a key role in supporting department performance and contributing to gross profit and customer satisfaction targets.

Key Responsibilities
n

Process parts orders, accessory requests, and trade quotations accurately and on time
n
Ensure prompt service to retail, trade, and workshop customers
n
Maintain accurate records, back‐order management, and internal tracking files
n
Liaise closely with technicians, service advisors, and warehouse staff
n
Maintain a clean, organised,



and qualified Parts counter environment
n
Provide accurate parts advice and identify opportunities to upsell where appropriate
n
Ensure WHS compliance and adherence to Sime Motors Australia policies
n
n
About You
n
n
Experience in automotive parts, retail, or a similar customer‐facing role
n
Strong customer service and communication skills
n
High attention to detail with accurate invoicing and paperwork
n
Confident using computer systems and learning new processes
n
Organised, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
n
Professional presentation and a team‐focused approach
n
Current, clean driver's licence
n
