Built Form Capital is a property development and investment group with a growing portfolio of commercial and industrial assets across Perth. This is an opportunity to work directly with the developer and asset owner, rather than simply managing properties on behalf of external clients.

About the role
n
The successful candidate will have the prospect to take management responsibility for the portfolio over time, with the appropriate support provided by the Trust Account and Property Administration team. The role can be structured as part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate, with a hybrid working arrangement and flexible schedule available. You will work directly with the developer and asset owner, rather than simply managing properties on behalf of external clients. Approximately 50% of the portfolio is internally owned, giving you exposure to both property management and the broader developer/asset-owner side of the business.

Key responsibilities
n
Manage the day-to-day operations of commercial and industrial properties
n
Take ownership of tenant, contractor, supplier and property relationships
n
Manage lease administration, renewals, rent reviews and key lease obligations
n
Coordinate maintenance, repairs and contractors
n
Manage property inspections, compliance and essential services
n
Manage strata-related matters and liaise with strata stakeholders
n
Coordinate strata meetings, budgets, maintenance and compliance requirements
n
Assist with property budgets, expenditure and financial reporting
n




Monitor property performance and identify opportunities for improvement
n
Coordinate building services, facilities and contractors
n
About you
n
Experienced or has a solid background in commercial property management and/or strata
n
Interested in developing a broader career in asset/strata management and property
n
Proactive, reliable and willing to learn
n
Confident dealing with tenants, contractors and stakeholders
n
Well organised with strong attention to detail
n
Able to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks
n
A strong communicator with good written and verbal communication skills
n
Practical and solutions-focused
n
Comfortable managing multiple priorities
n
Professional, motivated and keen to grow with the business
n
Commercial and industrial property experience is important. Residential property management is not the focus of this role.

Strata experience will be highly regarded, but we are open to candidates with a strong commercial property management background who are keen to develop their strata and asset management experience.
