The Position

We're seeking an enthusiastic Japanese teacher to join our collaborative team from Term 4, ****. This is a part time position at FTE 0.6, with hours negotiable for the right applicant.

Collaborative planning: work with your team and the curriculum coordinator to plan and implement effective teaching strategies through weekly collaborative planning sessions.

Supports the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education
n
Knows the Australian Curriculum well, and can design and adapt content for different learners
n
Communicates and collaborates easily, with your team, and with families
n
Uses assessment to track progress and adjust your teaching to suit individual students
n
Runs a well-organized, well-managed classroom, with initiative and a positive outlook
n
Holds high expectations for every student and is committed to improving their outcomes
n
Genuinely cares about student pastoral care and wellbeing
n
Has a 4-year tertiary qualification, current NT TRB and a Working with Children's Card (Ochre Card)
