The Opportunity
n
We are seeking a Legal Counsel (2–4 PAE) to join Melbourne Park and provide practical,
n
commercial legal advice across the organisation.
n
Working as part of a close-knit legal team, you will have the opportunity to work across a broad
n
and varied range of commercial matters, partnering closely with stakeholders across the
n
business and advising on matters including:
n
n
Commercial contracts and agreements
n
Compliance and regulatory matters
n
Construction and major projects
n
Leasing and property matters
n
Privacy
n
Procurement
n
n
This is a genuinely broad in-house opportunity, providing exposure to the diverse legal and
n
commercial considerations that arise within a major sporting and entertainment precinct.
n
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, providing pragmatic and
n
commercially focused legal advice and helping the business navigate matters effectively. Your
n
ability to build strong relationships,



understand the needs of the business and communicate

clearly with a diverse range of stakeholders will be highly valued.

The role would suit a lawyer with approximately 2-4 years' PAE who is looking to build their in-

house experience or continue developing their commercial legal career within a agile and

What You'll Bring
n
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
n
n
2-4 years' PAE with relevant experience gained in-house and/or within a reputable commercial law practice.
n
Experience across commercial legal matters, with exposure to contracts and/or other areas relevant to the role.
n
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to provide practical, solutions focused legal advice.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
n
Adaptability and confidence working across a broad and varied range of legal matters.
n
A valid, unrestricted Victorian practising certificate.
n
