Amana Living is seeking a dedicated Chaplain to provide compassionate pastoral, liturgical, and spiritual care to residents, clients, families, volunteers, and staff. This role plays a vital part in supporting the holistic wellbeing of individuals, offering person-centred care that is inclusive, culturally relevant, and age-appropriate. This will be 4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Provide spiritual guidance, supporting residents and clients in exploring faith, spirituality, ageing, and end-of-life matters
n
Facilitate access to representatives of various religious and faith traditions upon request
n
Deliver person-centred pastoral care, respecting all beliefs and customs
n
Lead regular worship services and special ceremonies, including memorial services and ANZAC Day commemorations
n
Collaborate with staff to ensure holistic care that addresses spiritual wellbeing
n
Complete spiritual assessments for all residents and maintain accurate records
n
Participate in Chaplaincy Team meetings and professional development initiatives
n

Qualifications & Requirements:
n
n
Theological education with ministry experience (chaplaincy experience preferred)
n
Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)



or equivalent training
n
Robust interpersonal skills with a compassionate and inclusive approach
n
Evidence of support from senior leadership within your faith community
n
National Police Clearance Certificate (within the last six months) Proof of current influenza in line with Amana Living policies
n
Western Australian C Class Driver's Licence
