Manage and process financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

Prepare and maintain financial reports and statutory financial statements.

Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors.

Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
n
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
n
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
n
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations and internal controls.
n
Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
n
Respond to queries relating to financial data, reporting and finance processes.
n
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
n
Previous experience in a Financial Accountant or Senior Accountant position.
n
Robust financial reporting and reconciliation experience.
n
Demonstrated exposure to month-end and year-end close processes.
n
Experience liaising with external auditors and managing audit requirements.
n
Sound understanding of Australian accounting standards and compliance requirements.
n
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
n
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across the business.
n
Advanced Excel skills and exposure to ERP systems.
n
Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative finance team.
n
