Eight regional offices and seven local education offices are located across the State. Regional offices and local education offices are staffed as determined by the Regional Executive Director, in accordance with local context and needs.
The Goldfields Education Regional Office works collaboratively with officers in Central Office and Statewide Services to support schools with policy advice; development and allocation of resources; management of projects and contracts for service; developing quality assurance processes for programs aimed at improving educational outcomes for students
The Role
The Goldfields Regional Education Office is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Coordinator Regional Services.
As the Coordinator Regional Services, you will be responsible for analysing issues and needs relating to regional support services to schools and networks and leading the coordination of these services provided to schools. The Coordinator Regional Services analyzes issues and needs relating to regional support services and leads the coordination of these services provided to schools, including but not limited to psychology, attendance, behaviour, curriculum and participation.
The successful applicant will work in partnership with the Coordinator Regional Operations and Departmental support providers, including Statewide Services and the Institute for Professional Learning. The successful applicant will ensure efficient and effective access to support services region-wide,
including engaging with schools and their networks to identify and analyse issues; developing and recommending solutions; and brokering support services in response to school needs.
In this role you will oversee support services for administrative and financial management, including the provision of physical resources, in support service delivery.
