Join a leading FS AI product vendor delivering complex, cloud-native platforms across banking and financial services.

This is a senior Solutions Architect role for someone with strong financial services experience and deep technical capability across modern application architecture, Kubernetes and enterprise integration.
n
You'll own solution architecture across complex banking environments, working across engineering, product and senior technology stakeholders to define how enterprise platforms are designed, integrated, deployed and scaled.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Designing end-to-end solution architectures for complex financial services environments.
n
Leading architecture across cloud-native and containerised application deployments.
n
Designing and supporting Kubernetes-based environments across enterprise banking infrastructure.
n
Defining integration patterns across APIs, event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
n
Translating functional and non-functional requirements into scalable technical designs.
n
Providing architectural direction to engineering and delivery teams.
n
Working with senior technology stakeholders to agree architecture, deployment and integration approaches.
n
Identifying and mitigating technical risks across complex implementations.
n
Supporting major technical opportunities with solution design and architecture input.
n
Acting as a senior technical escalation point across delivery.

What we're looking for
n
Strong Financial Services experience is essential.



You'll understand the complexity of delivering enterprise technology within banking or similarly regulated FS environments.
n
You'll ideally bring:
n
n
10+ years' experience across enterprise software and technology environments.
n
5+ years' experience in Solution Architecture or technical design roles.
n
Strong experience within banking or broader Financial Services.
n
Deep understanding of Kubernetes and containerised application architecture.
n
Experience designing highly available, scalable enterprise platforms.
n
Robust cloud architecture experience, ideally AWS.
n
API and integration architecture experience including REST and GraphQL.
n
Experience with event-driven and distributed technologies such as Kafka and Spark.
n
Strong understanding of Java-based enterprise applications.
n
Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
n
Experience with application servers such as JBoss, WebSphere or WildFly.
n
Experience working across Agile engineering environments.
n
n
Experience within AML, financial crime, fraud or RegTech would be advantageous, but is not essential.
n
