Job Description

We are currently working with a well-established and growing business within the construction and building services sector, who are looking for an experienced Service Coordinator to join their busy operations team.
n
This is a fast-paced coordination role suited to someone who enjoys being at the centre of day-to-day operations, coordinating field teams, managing client requirements and ensuring jobs are delivered efficiently, safely and in line with company standards.
n
The Role
n
Working closely with internal teams, clients and field-based staff, you will be responsible for coordinating daily service requirements across multiple sites throughout NSW.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Coordinating and scheduling day-to-day service and site activities
n
Allocating field-based technicians and trades to jobs based on client requirements, availability and skill sets
n
Responding to client and internal service requests in a timely and professional manner
n
Managing incoming queries and ensuring issues are followed through to resolution
n
Monitoring schedules and making adjustments where required to ensure service requirements are met
n
Maintaining accurate systems, records and workforce information
n
Coordinating site access, inductions and required documentation
n
Ensuring relevant licences, qualifications, accreditations and compliance documentation are current
n
Preparing and maintaining reports relating to service delivery and workforce requirements
n
Coordinating leave, availability and roster requirements
n
Reviewing and approving timesheets
n
Supporting compliance, quality and safety requirements across field operations
n
Liaising with clients, site teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders
n
Assisting with audits, quality documentation and continuous improvement initiatives
n
Supporting the wider operations team with administration and coordination as required
n
Participating in occasional after-hours support when required
n
n
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
n
Ideally, you will have:
n
n
Previous experience in a Service Coordinator, Operations Coordinator, Scheduler, Workforce Coordinator or similar role
n
Experience working within construction, trades, facilities, building services or another field-based environment
n
Strong scheduling and coordination skills
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
n
Confidence working across multiple systems and databases
n
Strong Microsoft Office and Outlook skills
n
A solutions-focused approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure
n
The confidence to communicate with both field-based teams and senior stakeholders
n
A strong understanding of compliance, safety and documentation requirements
n
