The Opportunity
n
In this role you will provide facilities management services and technical advice across Coles state-of-the-art Distribution Centre located in Laverton, Victoria.
n
The successful candidate will report to the National Operations Manager and work closely with the Distribution Centre Manager to deliver safe and efficient operation of the facility.
n
Your key responsibilities will include:
n
n
Ensure all programs including reactive and preventative maintenance are executed promptly and meet quality requirements.
n
Oversee the productive and effective operation of the site. Including cleaning, security, contractor management, self-delivery staff and waste management.
n
Manage annual facilities budget, identifying and prioritising funds to support required services.
n
Drive continuous improvement.



Implement and develop safety standards and procedures including conducting audits across the site.
n
Adhere to all City Health and Safety (Think Secure) policies and procedures.
n

To be considered for this role you will:
n
n
Tertiary qualification in Business, Administration or Technical stream – advantageous.
n
Previous Facilities Management experience, ideally in a commercial supply chain environment.
n
Experience with budget responsibility, including capital and operational budget management.
n
Strong administration, planning and coordination skills with exceptional attention to detail.
n
Build and maintain solid working relationships. Experience working closely with local and nationally based clients, contractors, technicians and team members.
n
Current and valid Australian Driver's Licence. Willing to travel interstate as required.
n
