KING Living
New South Wales
Job Description
Plan the runs. Lead the drivers. Land every delivery.
n
This is the role that decides whether a customer's day goes well.
n
Someone has waited weeks for a King Living piece. Getting it to them on time, undamaged and exactly when we said we would is the last thing we do for them — and the thing they remember. You are the person who makes that happen.
n
You plan the runs. You lead the drivers. You manage the exceptions in real time and ring the customer before they have to ring us. It is fast, hands-on and warehouse-based, and you will see the impact of your work every single day.
n
What You Will Own
n
Delivery Planning
n
Plan and sequence daily runs, optimise routes, validate orders, manage load-out and resolve exceptions in real time to keep every run on track.
n
Customer Liaison
n
Book and confirm delivery appointments, handle inbound scheduling queries, and communicate delays or changes before the customer has to chase.
n
Driver Leadership
n
Lead drivers and transport partners daily — run readiness, route clarity, delivery quality. Monitor outcomes, flag issues, and support onboarding and coaching with the Delivery Driver Manager.
n
Systems, Data & Compliance
n
Keep records accurate across SAP, Radaro and internal systems. Track DIFOT, damage rates and truck utilisation, and hold the line on CoR and safety compliance.
n
Warehouse Coordination
n
Work with the warehouse team to line up stock readiness, pick accuracy and dock flow with the day's delivery schedule.
n
Who You Are
n
Calm under pressure, quick on your feet, and precise — equally at home on the warehouse floor and behind a screen.
n
n
1–3 years in dispatch, delivery coordination, logistics or warehouse operations
n
Hands-on with delivery planning, run scheduling and load-out
n
Strong communicator, confident on inbound queries and proactive outbound calls
n
Experience with SAP, Radaro or similar delivery, warehouse or ERP systems
n
Detail-oriented,
and able to juggle multiple runs and competing priorities
n
Comfortable in a warehouse environment, working directly with drivers and transport partners
n
A quick problem-solver who can make the call under pressure
n
Confident with Microsoft 365 and happy to pick up recent platforms, including AI tools
n
Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and workplace safety requirements is desirable
n
Exposure to last-mile, bulky goods or furniture logistics is a bonus
n
