About the role
n
We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at Comuna Cantina Everton Park. As a Cook, you will be responsible for providing high-quality food, excellent culinary skills, and ensuring effective and high-quality delivery of meals. This is a part-time role based at our Everton Park location.
n
As a Cook, you will be responsible for:
n
Preparing and cooking a range of dishes in accordance with recipes and business standards.
n
Ensuring food is prepared and presented to a consistently high standard.
n
Assisting with menu implementation and daily food preparation requirements.
n
Monitoring food quality, portion control and minimizing waste.
n
Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with relevant regulations.
n
Storing and handling food appropriately and monitoring stock levels.
n
Assisting with ordering and stock rotation.
n
Working effectively within a busy kitchen environment.
n
What we're looking for
n
Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant or similar food service setting
n
Night and Weekend availability
n
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
n
Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
n




A passion for food and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service

Familiarity with food safety and hygiene practices
