Ready to lead compliance within a successful, rapidly scaling fintech?
Reporting to the General Counsel and engaging directly with the Executive Leadership Team and Board, you will take ownership of the organisation's Australian regulatory risk and compliance function.
This is a senior, visible and hands-on role where you will:
Own and strengthen the AML/CTF, AFSL, sanctions and financial crime compliance frameworks
Lead monitoring, assurance, breach management and regulatory engagement
Advise and influence senior executives and the Board
Partner with Product, Operations, Technology and Legal to enable commercially sound decisions
Lead a lean team and build compliance capability for the next stage of growth
You will be an experienced financial services compliance leader whose core expertise sits within
AML/CTF,



AFSL compliance and financial crime risk
.
You will have a strong record of influencing at executive and ideally Board level, translating regulation into practical solutions and managing relationships with AUSTRAC and ASIC.
Experience within fintech, payments, banking or another complex financial services environment will be highly regarded.
Just as significant will be your ability to operate pragmatically and hands-on in a fast-moving, high-growth business.
