The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) is seeking a
Senior Procurement Specialist
to deliver end-to-end procurement services that support Bushfire and Forest Services operations across Victoria.
As a
Senior Procurement Specialist
, you will provide expert procurement advice, manage multiple concurrent sourcing activities and help strengthen procurement governance and capability across the organisation.
You will be contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance procurement performance and service delivery.
This position has no direct reports.
Tertiary qualification in procurement, commerce, business, law, contract management or a related discipline (desirable).
Professional accreditation in procurement and/or contract management (e.g., CIPS or equivalent) (desirable).
Significant demonstrated experience and a successful track record delivering end-to-end procurements in a complex setting, including successfully applying Victorian Government procurement policies and processes.
Proven high level written and verbal communication capabilities
Forklift license may be required




A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within Victoria arerequired
This is an ongoing position.
The work location for this position is Altona North, with hybrid work arrangements available.
