About My Summer Workplace
Are you currently studying, or have recently graduated and needing to gain experience within the industry?
My Summer Workplace is a 12-week paid internship program with Sunshine Coast Council that will equip you with the skills, opportunities, networks and confidence you need to step into your chosen career.
Commencing in November **** and concluding February ****, you will need to be available to work four days per week for this 12-week period.
Note
- There will be a 2-week unpaid break over the Christmas period.

About This Internship
Join our Business Integration & Improvement team and gain hands-on experience in business process improvement, data analysis, systems administration, and project support while contributing to initiatives that enhance Council services.
Provide administrative assistance with process improvement and business support initiatives across planning and development services
Support the analysis and review business processes to identify efficiency improvements
Undertake information gathering activities to support the development of workflow maps and procedural documentation
Assist with system administration, reporting, and data analysis activities
Assist with project work and stakeholder engagement activities
About You
Be enrolled in a tertiary course and have completed 16 or more subjects, or;
Have recently graduated from university (within 12 months of graduation); or
Have recently completed a TAFE Diploma (within 12 months of graduation);
Be able to attend the Assessment Centre on 29 October ****
Possess Australian working rights:
Citizen (AU/NZ)
Permanent Resident
Current valid visa, with unrestricted working rights for the duration of the program
