JOB OVERVIEW
n
Responsible for the provision of ground maintenance services, safe and efficient operations of mowing machinery to ensure our client's landscaped grounds are maintained as per the site schedule and specifications.
n




RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION
n
n
Mow Lawns using ride on mowers (front deck & Ztrack).
n
Remove litter from garden beds and driveways.
n
Remove dead branches and leaves.
n
Performing routine maintenance on mowing equipment
n
Tasks to be carried out in a manner that causes the least inconvenience to customers, staff and the general public.
n
Temporary warning signs placed when required.
n
Operate equipment and machinery in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and the SNT operating procedures
n
Report maintenance and repair issues to the area supervisor.
n
Understand and comply with quality, safety, health and environmental policies.
n
Follow written instructions, verbal direction and procedures to perform work.
n
Challenge any instructions that you believe places anyone or the environment at risk.
n
Take personal responsibility to protect the health and safety of people or the workplace.
n

SELECTION CRITERIA
n
ESSENTIALS
n
n
Class C Driver's Licence (manual)
n
Ability to work under supervision and as a team member.
n
Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
n
A satisfactory National Police Security Check Report.
n
Be physically able to perform the duties of the position
n
Be able to perform manual work for long periods outdoors
n
n
DESIRABLE
n
n
Certificate I or equivalent qualification in horticulture.
n
Working with Children Card (or be willing to obtain)
