Psychologist | Hybrid Private Practice & Subcontractor Prospect | South Yarra

Reconnect Centre is expanding, and we're looking for a psychologist interested in a flexible hybrid opportunity from our new South Yarra location.
n
This role may suit a psychologist who already has an existing private caseload, or is building one, and is looking for a qualified space to work from, while also having the opportunity to receive referrals and work with clients through Reconnect Centre.

How the hybrid model works
n
You'll have the flexibility to use the South Yarra consulting room for your own private clients, while also working as a subcontractor with Reconnect Centre and taking on Reconnect referrals that align with your interests and availability.

The aim is to create a model that allows you to maintain your independence and your own clinical work, while also being connected to a specialist practice and an additional referral stream.

About Reconnect Centre

Reconnect Centre is a psychology practice specialising in persistent pain, chronic illness, trauma and emotional wellbeing.
n
Our approach is relational, experiential and body-informed. We are particularly interested in the relationship between emotions, the nervous system and physical symptoms, and in helping clients develop a different relationship with their internal experiences.

As we grow, we're looking to build a team of clinicians who are genuinely interested in working in this space.

We'd particularly love to hear from psychologists who:

Are generally registered with AHPRA
n
Have experience in, or a genuine interest in developing skills in, persistent pain and chronic illness
n
Work from an emotion-focused, experiential, relational and/or somatic orientation
n
Value depth-oriented psychological work rather than a purely protocol-driven approach
n
Have some capacity to accept Reconnect Centre referrals
n
Would like the flexibility to continue seeing their own private clients
n
Are interested in working in person from South Yarra
n

Previous specialist pain experience is welcome but isn't necessarily essential. A strong clinical foundation, alignment with our therapeutic approach and a genuine interest in this area are equally important.
n
This could be particularly well suited to an established or growing private practitioner who wants the autonomy of their own practice without working entirely in isolation — and who would value being connected with a specialist practice and referral network.

The arrangement is flexible and can be structured around the right clinician and their existing commitments.
