Are you an experienced VR GP, GR GP, or Medical Officer with a passion for skin cancer detection and prevention?

We're seeking clinicians with skin cancer screening experience to join a government-funded screening program delivering vital community health services across South East Queensland.

About the Role
n
Working within established screening clinics, you will conduct skin cancer assessments and identify suspicious lesions requiring further investigation or treatment.
n
Clinic hours are typically 8:00am-5:00pm, with patient appointments generally running from 8:30am-4:30pm.
n
Most clinics see approximately 28 patients per day (15-minute appointments),



with some high-volume clinics seeing up to 40 patients per day (10-minute appointments) where administrative support is available.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive skin cancer screening consultations
n
Perform full-body skin examinations using a dermatoscope
n
Assess, identify and document suspicious lesions
n
Provide recommendations and referral pathways where required
n
Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
n
Follow program protocols and clinical governance requirements
n
Assist with clinic setup and pack down
n

About You
n
n
Current AHPRA registration
n
VR GP, GR GP or Medical Officer
n
Demonstrated experience in skin cancer screening and assessment
n
Confident use of a dermatoscope (own equipment required)
n
Excellent communication and clinical assessment skills
n
Ability to travel between clinic locations as required
n
n
