About This Role

Join a major offshore decommissioning campaign in the Gippsland Basin as a Vessel Lead or Company Site Representative. Working on a 2:2 roster, you will provide offshore leadership, contractor oversight and operational assurance during high-profile vessel-based removals activities. This role is ideal for experienced offshore construction, marine or decommissioning professionals with solid safety and stakeholder management capabilities

Provide offshore leadership and Company representation during decommissioning and removals activities.
n
Act as the primary interface between offshore vessel management, contractors and project stakeholders.
n
Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with approved procedures, specifications and safety requirements.
n
Lead daily reporting, activity surveillance and operational assurance activities.
n
Conduct field verification of critical controls, safeguards and risk management processes.
n
Participate in risk assessments, JSAs and pre-task planning activities.
n
Provide visible safety leadership, coaching and workforce engagement offshore.
n
Support incident reporting, investigations and emergency response activities.
n
Review quality documentation, inspections and testing activities.
n




Manage offshore changes through approved Management of Change (MOC) processes.
n
Monitor vessel readiness, progress and operational conditions.
n
Capture and share safety and operational lessons learned.

Requirements
n
n
Extensive offshore construction, installation, marine operations or decommissioning experience.
n
Previous vessel supervision and offshore leadership experience.
n
Strong background in critical risk management and operational assurance.
n
Experience conducting field-based verification and compliance activities.
n
Strong safety leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
Ability to confidently engage with contractor management and frontline personnel.
n
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
Offshore decommissioning experience.
n
Heavy lift campaign experience.
n
Experience working on complex multi-contractor offshore projects.
n
