HSEQ Lead – Sydney & NSW

$170K + Super + Company Car | Approx. $210K Package
n
We are seeking an experienced HSEQ Lead to oversee HSEQ performance across Sydney, Wollongong and regional NSW. This is a senior leadership role where you will lead and mentor a team of HSEQ Advisors while partnering with Project Managers and senior leaders to drive HSEQ performance, culture and continuous improvement.

The Role

Lead and mentor a team of HSEQ Advisors across NSW
n
Drive HSEQ, risk, quality and environmental performance across projects
n
Conduct site inspections, audits and incident investigations
n
Identify trends and implement targeted improvement initiatives
n
Support compliance with ISO *****, ISO ***** and ISO ****
n
Partner with project teams and senior management to drive positive safety culture
n
Provide guidance across risk assessments, SWMS, HSEQ plans and tenders
n
Travel across Sydney, Wollongong and regional NSW as required
n

About You
n
n




Previous experience in an HSEQ leadership role within construction, remediation or a high-risk environment
n
Robust knowledge of HSEQ legislation, compliance and management systems
n
Strong risk management and audit experience
n
Proven ability to lead, influence and drive change
n
Understanding of Quality and Environmental Management Systems
n
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
n
Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
n
Willingness to travel throughout NSW
n

Highly regarded: Tier 1 - 2 construction, multistorey/CBD, remediation, fuel, concrete/steel remediation, Defence and OFSC experience.
