Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort is currently seeking proactive and reliable Handypersons to join our team in both Full-Time and Casual positions. These roles are essential in ensuring our resort remains well-presented, safe, and welcoming for both guests and team members.
n
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys creating a safe, well-maintained environment for guests and colleagues alike. As part of our team, you'll be the go-to person for repairs and maintenance, working across guest rooms, public areas, resort facilities, and back-of-house areas to ensure everything operates at its best.

Key Responsibilities Include
n
n
Carry out general repairs and maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and resort facilities
n
Complete painting, patching, and minor refurbishment works as required
n
Oversee and support external contractors when required
n
Implement and maintain the property's preventative maintenance program
n
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and operational issues
n
Keep accurate records of daily tasks, maintenance requests, and service schedules
n
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company policies and procedures
n

Full-Time and Casual opportunities available

Flexible roster across seven days, including weekends and public holidays
n
Additional hours may be available based on operational requirements
n

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation)
n
Monday - Friday: $***** per hour

Qualifications
n
Successful applicants will have:
n
n
Previous hands-on experience in building,



facilities, or property maintenance (12 months preferred but not essential)
n
Previous painting experience highly regarded
n
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
n
Excellent time management and organisational skills
n
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
n
A genuine commitment to delivering high standards of service
n
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
n
Trade qualifications or relevant licences will be highly regarded but are not essential
n
