Lead and manage multi-disciplinary design delivery across complex renewables projects
n
Deliver high-quality design outcomes meeting project scope, budget, program and safety requirements
n
Lead integrated teams from feasibility and concept design through detailed design and construction support
n
Translate project brief requirements into delivery strategies and design schedules
n
Manage design scope and progress to meet deadlines
n
Liaise daily with clients, external stakeholders and key discipline leads
n
Lead design coordination and interfaces with external design consultants and stakeholders
n
Oversee Arcadis quality and documentation processes, including risk, change and design-decision tracking
n
Monitor and coordinate project resources against program requirements and design scope
n
Manage compliance with project requirements and applicable standards
n
Provide design leadership and technical guidance to project teams
n
Lead discipline leads to ensure consistent design output
n
Liaise with Project Directors and client Project Managers to meet project and client expectations
n
Contribute to utility-scale solar, wind, battery energy storage, hybrid renewable energy and transmission infrastructure projects
n

Requirements
n
n
Robust project and design management background, ideally 10+ years, working on major/large-scale renewable projects
n
Proven track record of successfully delivering major renewable projects
n
Background in technical design delivery
n
Experience working with renewable energy developers, owners, contractors and delivery partners across a range of contractual arrangements
n
Ability to negotiate, influence and communicate technical knowledge to renewable energy developers,



D&C;/EPC contractors, utilities, government agencies and regulators
n
Sound commercial background, including familiarity with contractual conditions and procedures and ability to assess risk
n
Experience managing and working with large multi-disciplinary teams
n
Proven knowledge and understanding of inter-disciplinary design dependencies and impacts for project delivery
n
Experience delivering projects involving high-voltage transmission, substations or grid connection infrastructure highly regarded
n
