About the Chance
n
We're seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses for a variety of contract opportunities across Queensland's regional and rural communities, including Rockhampton, Dysart, Stanthorpe, Mackay, Cherbourg, Theodore, Tara, and Cooktown, as well as opportunities in Kimba and other rural locations.
n
Contracts are available from mid-September through to January next year, with vacancies commencing from 15 September onwards. With a range of contract lengths available, start and finish dates are flexible and negotiable, making these roles ideal for nurses seeking either short-term travel assignments or longer regional contracts while experiencing some of Australia's most unique communities.

Your Key Responsibilities
n
n
Triage & assessment of patients with acute and emergency presentations
n
Deliver safe, timely, high‐quality care in dynamic ED settings
n
Respond to trauma and resuscitation scenarios
n
Administer medications and treatments according to clinical guidelines
n
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support patient flow
n
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety and infection‐control standards
n
Provide patient education and reassurance during high‐stress situations
n

What You'll Need
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Minimum 2 years' recent ED experience
n
Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
n
Full Australian working rights
n
Competence in Triage, Resuscitation, and Cannulation
n
Strong clinical judgement and confidence working in new environments
