Structural Team Lead
This is a hands‐on leadership role for someone who can be the glue of the structural team – bringing people together, managing delivery and creating clarity across competing project priorities.You'll lead a diverse portfolio of building and infrastructure projects while developing a capable team around you.
About the Company
Our client is an established Queensland engineering consultancy recognised for technical excellence and collaborative project delivery.
The structural team works across a varied project portfolio spanning commercial and residential developments, industrial facilities, community projects and broader infrastructure.
Projects involve both new-build and existing structures, giving the team exposure to structural design, assessment, remediation and complex multidisciplinary engineering challenges.
The business is looking for a leader who can bring structure and cohesion to the team.
You'll coordinate workloads, mentor engineers, maintain technical standards and ensure people have the support and direction needed to deliver.




Requirements
Degree-qualified Structural/Civil Engineer with robust Australian consultancy experience and RPEQ
Proven experience leading and managing structural engineers and drafters across multiple concurrent projects
Strong technical capability across concrete and steel structures with experience across building and/or infrastructure projects
A collaborative leadership style with the ability to mentor people, manage workloads and create accountability across a team
Commercial project experience including clients, programmes, budgets, proposals and successful project delivery
