You are proactive, take initiative, and confidently step into tasks without needing to be directed. You are passionate about early childhood education and feel confident supporting children through their most important developmental and learning years, from birth to five years. You build positive relationships with children and families and are committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
n To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Experience working with children aged0–5 yearsin an approved early learning setting
n
Minimum 1 year experienceworking as an Early Childhood Educator, with strong preference for experienced Diploma educators
n
Confidence working across different age groups and rooms
n
Demonstrates initiative and a hands‐on approach, confidently stepping into daily tasks and supporting children and permanent staff
n
Ability to provide2 Recent industry‐relevant references (One of which is a Director)
n
Availability to travel up to45 minutesto accept shifts.
n
n
Qualifications (one or more of the following):
n
n
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
n
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
n
Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching
n
n
Compliance Requirements:
n
n
Working With Children Check (WWCC) orVIT Registration
n
First
AidHLTAID012including
CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis
n
National Police Check(or willingness to obtain)




n
DoFoodSafely Certificate
n
Foundations and Advanced GECCKO Child Safety Training
n
n
This is an excellent prospect for someone who is flexible, reliable, motivated, and passionate about working with children. The successful candidate will be a confident and capable early childhood educator, committed to delivering high‐quality care and education across a variety of learning environments. They will demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and a proactive approach, confidently stepping into tasks and supporting the team and children as needed.
