Hydraulics Fitter

NEPEAN Longwall is a leading provider of longwall mining equipment and services to Australia's underground coal industry. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Hydraulics Fitter with Cylinder Rebuild experience to join our team based in Paget, Mackay QLD.
n
This is a local, workshop-based role offering a 4-day compressed working week, providing genuine work–life balance while working on specialised underground mining equipment.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Assembly and overhaul of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves and manifolds
n
Fault-finding, testing and commissioning of hydraulic systems
n
Reading and interpreting hydraulic schematics and drawings
n
Ensuring all work meets quality, safety and WHS standards
n
Working closely with electrical and mechanical trades
n
n
About You
n
n
Trade qualification as a Fitter / Hydraulics Fitter or similar
n
Experience in hydraulics within mining, heavy industrial or mobile plant environments




n
Longwall or underground coal experience (highly regarded, not essential)
n
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
n
Safety-focused with strong attention to detail
n
