Job Description
Followmont Transport is looking for an experienced Fleet Controller to join our Brisbane Operations team.
n
This role is responsible for coordinating drivers, fleet movements and resources to ensure freight is delivered safely, efficiently and on time. Working closely with drivers and operational teams, you'll play a key role in maintaining service standards, managing daily schedules and supporting the ongoing success of our network.

What You'll Be Doing
n

Managing daily driver and fleet allocations
n
Monitoring freight movements and service performance
n
Coordinating route planning and operational schedules
n
Investigating and resolving operational issues
n
Maintaining compliance with transport regulations and company policies
n
Producing operational reports and tracking key performance metrics
n
Building strong relationships with drivers, customers and internal stakeholders
n
Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and service outcomes
n

What You'll Need
n
n
Previous experience in Fleet Control, Transport Operations or Dispatch
n
Strong understanding of transport and logistics operations
n
Excellent planning and problem-solving skills
n




Strong Excel and reporting capability
n
Ability to work in a fast paced operational environment
n
Knowledge of fatigue management and transport compliance requirements
n
Dangerous Goods knowledge highly regarded
n
Strong knowledge of Brisbane and surrounding areas
n
Excellent communication and leadership skills
