About Cerberus Health Centre
n
Cerberus Health Centre is located at HMAS Cerberus in Westernport (adjacent to Crib Point on the Mornington Peninsula). This Naval base has approximately **** members and is the primary training establishment for young recruits (about **** personnel trained annually), averaging 800 trainees onboard at any one time. The health centre provides primary medical, outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical services. It contains a 30 bed low dependency ward which operates 24/7.



The standard operating hours are generally 07:*******:30 Monday - Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts). The facility is also responsible for the provision of after-hours services to ADF personnel on the Mornington Peninsula.

This is a part time, fixed term contract for 21 months.

What You'll Do
n
n
Deliver high quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations or monitor and manage patients in a low dependency ward setting
n
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals
n
Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care
n

What You Bring
n
n
Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Minimum one year Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care or military setting
n
Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
n
Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
n
Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient centred care
n
Ability to work a 24/7 roster
n
