Job Description
Join Waverley Council as a Team Member – Carpenter, delivering quality carpentry, maintenance and repair work across Council's buildings, facilities and public spaces

This hands-on role offers variety, from general repairs and maintenance to construction and refurbishment projects.

Permanent full time

38 hours per week

Salary –$72,****** - $83,****** plus 12% Super
n
9- day fortnight
n

The Role
n
You'll work as a part of the skilled team, helping keep Waverley's community assets safe, functional and well maintained
n
You will also support the delivery of best practice maintenance and service improvement of Waverley Council's public spaces including parks, streetscape assets, tree management, natural area management and Council infrastructure. The role will work independently and as part of a team applying their skills and trade to a wide range of duties in a flexible manner
n
About you
n

Trade qualification that is applicable to the role
n
Demonstrated skills and experience in an operational service and maintenance workplace.
n
Must be physically fit and able to apply manual handling techniques.
n
Strong commitment to protected work practices
n
Demonstrated strong commitment to delivering quality customer service.
n
Class C Drivers Licence.
n
High level interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with staff and members of the public.
n
Current WHS General Construction Induction (white) card, or willing to obtain on commencement of employment
n
