Job Description
n
Plan and manage delivery of projects for a Federal Government client
n
Develop and manage integrated schedules across project and program workstreams
n
Establish critical paths and monitor dependencies, deliverables, milestones and risks
n
Provide strategic leadership and guidance to senior executives on scheduling, resourcing, risks and issues
n
Collaborate and negotiate with stakeholders across business and enterprise levels
n
Manage schedule change control and maintain schedule artefacts and baselines
n
Perform impact analysis and apply risk mitigation and issue management strategies
n
Lead continuous improvement of scheduling processes, methodologies and procedures
n
Prepare and present delivery risk information to senior executives
n
Build scheduling capability through coaching, succession planning and staff development
n
Oversee team operations, priorities, resources and direction
n
Manage, maintain and analyse schedule components, critical paths, relationships and interdependencies
n
Support innovation, strategic change initiatives and implementation of strategic directions
n
Exercise delegations in accordance with legislation and guidelines
n

Requirements
n
n
Must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain Baseline Security Clearance
n
Financial management: Level 4 (SFIA)
n
Organisational change management: Level 6 (SFIA)
n
Project management: Level 6 (SFIA)
n
Requirements definition and management: Level 5 (SFIA)
n
Stakeholder relationship management: Level 5 (SFIA)
n
Performance management: Level 5 (SFIA) (desirable)
n
Quality management: Level 5 (SFIA) (desirable)
n
Expertise in automated scheduling and reporting tools
n
Expert knowledge of project management software, procedures, processes, tools and techniques
n
Knowledge of schedule performance and evaluation metrics
n
Knowledge of financial management and reporting tools
n
Knowledge of relevant frameworks, legislation, policies, procedures and information management requirements
n
Knowledge of privacy, ethics, workplace health and safety, and security protocols
n
Candidate must provide a one-page pitch addressing all specified criteria (up to **** characters)
